 Kathy is one of the best trainers I've ever had. We've trained with her because she has skills with basic training as well as introducing you to the world of dog sports such as  Scent Work, formal Obedience, Rally and Tricks. We achieved many AKC titles thanks to her.

 Kathy knows dogs, their traits by breed and understands mixed breeds who are just as trainable as pure breeds. She makes training fun for dog and owner and is patient and understanding and is always willing to answer questions.  Kathy has trained both me and my dogs who have achieved many AKC titles such as Canine Good Citizen, Canine Good Citizen Advanced, and Urban dog.

Kathy Medel of DogStar Training USA is an exceptional trainer and human being. I gave her two difficult dogs. My one year old with no focus and severe anxiety needed a job, so we gave him scent work. I then decided my wild seven year old needed an activity, so we started rally.  Kathy's enthusiasm for training and dog sports as well as her genuine concern for my dogs and their issues kept us motivated. Because of her, both my dogs are participating in multiple sports and earning titles. Kathy has rejoiced in every single accomplishment along the way. I started basic pet obedience classes with Kathy around 3 years ago. My dog earned her (CGC) Canine Good Citizens certificate through Kathy's training. Then Kathy told me about Scentwork and made it sound so interesting that we joined her class. We loved it and currently compete in Scentwork trials offered by the AKC.
